SoulShine is hosting our first Permaculture Inspired Conference. Our day of panels & activities will provide you pathways of practicing permaculture in your everday life. This is a family-focused event with programming for adults & children!
All profits will be donated to Wholesome Wave Georgia. Wholesome Wave Georgia increases access to fresh, healthy, local food by doubling foodstamp dollars at local, producer-only farmers markets.
Atlanta is unique because of our dozens of nature preserves hidden within the perimeter. Jonah McDonald, author of Hiking Atlanta’s Hidden Forests: Intown and Out, will introduce you to his favorite Atlanta greenspaces and provide tips, activities, and close-to-home destinations for nature play with your children. Instead of driving hours to the mountains to spend family time in the forest, Jonah will help you build these natural experiences into your everyday life!

Learn about the importance of nutrient density in our food & the impact of our relationships relating to our diet. We will have recommendations on making these everyday choices.
Bremen SengStack, Permaculture Farmer, SoulShine Farm & Forage
Bremen Sengstack has been practicing agriculture for over 10 years, with a special interest and focus on Permaculture and reWilding. He believes that by choosing nutrient dense foods for our families and making choices for future generational health instead of our own, we can better care for our children today and our grandchildren tomorrow. He can be found barefoot in the field or wood, usually with a few little ones in tow.

Community Building and Closing call to action
SoulShine Market will be open during the breaks. The students have planted a variety of fall friendly plants and painted pots to sell, along with a handful of other items from this last month’s curriculum.
