PreK School-Prep Summer Camps

Give your 4- and 5-year old children a chance to prepare for the routine of Pre-K or Kindergarten during the summer.

School-Prep Summer Camp will run in two-week “semesters” beginning June 4, 2018.

Children will have a chance to experience the routine of a school day while still having the fun of a permaculture-focused summer camp.

Our camps feature:

  • A regular routine, modeled after the PreK schedule (including one nap)
  • Outings to local parks
  • Water play
  • Daily activities designed to share permaculture concepts and global awareness
  • Two healthy snacks, with the option to add lunch every day

Campers must register for two consecutive weeks. Full-time enrollment only.

Because our camp is small, children receive personal attention and experiences.

What about lunch?

Please pack a large, healthy, non-refrigerated lunch for each day of camp. SoulShine is a nut-free facility.  If you'd prefer to let us take care of lunch, choose the "with Lunch" tuition option below.

Ages:  4- and 5-year olds who will begin PreK or Kindergarten in August, 2018

Can a child attend multiple sessions?

Yes. Signing up for multiple semesters of school-prep summer camp won't be boring for your children!  The routine will stay the same but the activities and experiences will be completely different each week of camp.

Do you have an older child you're enrolling in a SoulShine Kirkwood Summer Camp?

If so, you may choose a single location for drop-off/pick-up for all kids, and we'll do the rest.

Permaculture works toward building a more regenerative landscape, and encompasses using less energy, eating wholesome, local food, involving your family in the life of the community and making wiser choices that will improve the quality of life for your family, your community and the environment around you.
