On August 25th, SoulShine hosted a dazzling 'Dancing Through The Decades' event at its Decatur location, marking 17 years of fostering young minds and community unity.
Attendees were transported back in time to the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, celebrating each era's iconic styles and music. Captain Crimmins and The Story Boat Band provided a mesmerizing soundtrack, inspiring curiosity, kindness, and love for our planet. Attendees embraced the theme with creative attire, enjoyed mouthwatering street food, and reveled in outdoor activities and games. With exciting prizes up for grabs, laughter-filled moments, and a photo album to revisit the magic, the event was a resounding success.
We’re still grooving from the incredible energy and joy at our recent ‘Dancing Through The Decades’ event celebrating 17 Years of SoulShine! A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for the unforgettable evening. Your presence made it a resounding success, and your enthusiasm truly lit up the dance floor! It was an event filled with laughter, delicious treats, games, and memorable moments that transcended time.
We're thrilled to announce our costume contest winners! The Hagan Family from our Decatur location truly embodied the groovy spirit of the 1960s as hip, fun-loving hippies. For their outstanding effort, they've earned $100 off tuition for each of their daughters who attend SoulShine.
Let's also give a round of applause to our own SoulShine teacher, Chantil Craft, who captured the essence of the 1950s with her timeless style. As a token of our appreciation, Chantil will enjoy an extra day of PLT.
